Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz are the new subjects of a meme which also involves Janus del Prado
After social media posts showing Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna circulated on the internet, actor Janus del Prado shared a meme of Derek and Ellen with a scene from a movie showing him and John Lloyd Cruz.
Recently, Derek and Ellen were spotted hanging out together along with other friends including Ruffa Gutierrez. Photos of Derek and Ellen getting playfully cozy were shared on social media on Monday night, January 11.
Ruffa clarified the two are just friends and posted “Walang malisya @ramsayderek07 @maria.elena.adarna.”
Janus then reposted Derek and Ellen's photo alongside a screengrab from a movie scene where he is seen holding back John Lloyd. The movie also starred Derek, who played John Lloyd's ex-girlfriend's new friend and boss. The meme was created by a netizen and was shared by Janus on Instagram.
"Poy, tama na, tara na sa labas. Char.️ #ctto #goodvibesonly #onemorechance," Janus wrote.
The photo has gotten over 14,000 likes on Instagram and gotten hilarious comments recalling John Lloyd's character, who got jealous upon seeing his ex-girlfriend, played by Bea Alonzo, with a new guy (Derek).
"AhahahahahaLagot ka kay PopoyBaka uminom ka ng shampoo nyan️," one netizen said.
Ellen and John Lloyd began dating in 2017 but later on called it quits in 2019. They welcomed their son Elias Modesto on June 27, 2020.
Ellen shared that she and John Lloyd have been co-parenting their two-year-old son Elias.
